CHILLING: Robbie Williams’ 2002 Song Bears Shocking Resemblance To Las Vegas Massacre

The Las Vegas massacre, which left 58 dead and injured more than 500 after Stephen Paddock shot at people attending a country music concert from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, has since been described as the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history.

While the investigation into what drove Stephen Paddock to open fire on over 22,000 music lovers last Sunday has led to more questions and few answers, it has emerged that English singer and song writer Robert Peter Williams might have predicted the deadly incident 15 years ago!

The sequence of events that led to the massacre at Las Vegas bears an eerie resemblance to Williams’ song ‘Me and My Monkey’ from his 2002 album Escapology.

In Me and My Monkey, Williams sings about checking into a room on the 33rd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas while carrying a gun. In his song, Williams sings about travelling alongside a ‘monkey’ to Vegas “with a dream and a gun”. The lyrics say:

“We made tracks to the Mandalay Bay Hotel… We got the elevator, I hit the 33rd floor. I’m hoping my monkey don’t point that gun at anyone. I watched pay-per-view and polished my shoes and my gun. Don’t point that gun at anyone… That’s a bad ass monkey boy and he’s packing a gun… Put your gun down, boy.”

So that begs the question: Was Paddock inspired by the song? There is no evidence to suggest that. Did Williams foresee the Las Vegas massacre? There is no evidence to suggest that either. However, the similarity is spooky. What do you think? Please share your thoughts in the comment section below…
